I think, as Christians, we need to be careful to not become fruit inspectors of fellow Christians. What we witness outwardly may not be all that's happening behind the scenes in the life of a believer. I also, think it's important to examine our motives when we do "good works". Is our motive to love our neighbor as ourselves? Or is it to virtue signal. "Look at what a great Christian I am."

I agree. I think this is part of the problem with our Christian culture right now—people demanding that the fruit of your faith is a specific thing, but we’re each uniquely called to specific ways of showing our faith whether it be public or not. I do think it’s important for us to each reconcile how our faith is being lived out though because far too many people (myself included at times) get comfortable just being a Christian by name and faith and not allowing that faith to compel us to action.

And YESSS! The motivation is KEY. This is for God and glory to His name, not my own.
